When are we open?
Between 10am - 5pm every day
(In British Summer Time).
In winter, the Park is open until 4.30pm
Last entry is at 3.30pm, so shake a tail feather!

Birdworld is located on the Hampshire / Surrey border, only two miles south of Farnham and within an hour’s drive of London.

The South Western Railway service from London Waterloo to Alton, stops at Aldershot, Farnham and Bentley. From Farnham or Aldershot train station, visitors can take the Stagecoach bus service directly to a stop right outside Birdworld. Easily accessible from the M25, you’ll find us 2 miles south of Farnham on the A325. Well signposted from the M3 junction 4, just follow the brown and white cockatoo road signs.
You can lock your bicycle securely at Birdworld, so cycling is also a great way to get here.

Be a friend to the environment - why not start your visit to Birdworld with a nature walk through the beautiful Alice Holt Forest?
Download printable directions from Bentley station. The sheet has space for children to jot down any wildlife they see on the way. You might be lucky enough to spot deer, woodpeckers, foxes, flocks of butterflies and even some birds of prey.
The walk takes around 30-45 minutes. If you have any time, we recommend you visit the Bentley Butterfly Meadow, next to the station. This site of special scientific interest is managed by Butterfly Conservation and always displays up-to-date information on what to look out for. Bright eyes may catch sight of the stunning Purple Emperor, glowing Silver Washed Fritillaries or a tiny Grizzled Skipper whizzing by.

Parrot Point
This large outdoor kiosk is right next to a play area, surrounded by picnic tables. It’s the place for a quick round of hot dogs, jacket potatoes and chips. Well-stocked with plenty of ice cream, and hot and cold drinks, to keep you refreshed for the fun ahead.
Picnic areas
Birdworld is yours to explore, to stop and eat where you like. With 26 acres of parkland you’ll find plenty of spots for a picnic, including an indoor area for shade and/or shelter at the far reaches of the park.
Please don’t share your food with the birds. While sharing is caring between people, it can make our feathery friends dangerously ill. Thank you for understanding.
Parking
You’ll find plenty of parking spaces available for whenever you visit. There is no charge to park at Birdworld.
There are also numerous spaces reserved for disabled badge holders, all located next to the main entrance.
Bicycles can be securely chained to a metal rack which is also next to the main entrance.
