Love is in the air at Birdworld

Guests can continue to receive a 25% discount on all admission rates when they book their tickets online this half term.

Birdworld is one of the few places in the world where you can see some of the world’s rarest birds. Birdworld houses over 150 different species, 40% of which are threatened with extinction.

As well as discounted admission, there will also be a free Lovebird-themed trail for guests to take part in as they make their way around Birdworld’s 25 acres of landscaped gardens.

Guests will also have the chance to watch some of Birdworld’s animals in action, with penguin and pelican feeds taking place throughout the day.

Birdworld is home to two species of penguin, the Humboldt Penguin and the African Penguin, which is considered an Endangered Species.

As well as maintaining a successful breeding programme for the African Penguins under their care, Birdworld also works closely with SANCCOB to ensure the conservation of African Penguins in their wild habitat.

Birdworld’s Spread the Love event will be taking place between Saturday 12th – Monday 28th of February.
